Midland WR-300 NOAA Weather Radio ReceiverThis site operates a Midland WR-300 NOAA Weather Radio *EXT* set to Channel 1 (162.400MHz)/SAME#036015 *EXT* to receive NOAA station WXM31 broadcasting from Hawley Hill in Elmira with 1000 Watts of power. The audio output of the radio is fed to the line-input on the sound card for the weather station PC. Software by Edcast *EXT* encodes a 16Kbps monaural MP3 stream and sends it to WeatherUnderground *EXT*.
